The other day I got acquainted with the demo version of the second part of the neighbor with greetings. I downloaded the demo itself during Steam Scream Fest. But there the list was already considerable, so my hands did not get to the “neighbor”. And then, too, hands did not reach. And since the game itself should be released on December 6, then it’s time to get acquainted with it first! Well, at the same time slightly introduce you.

In the first part Hello Neighbor I did not play with the game only by numerous trailers. But these same trailers saw a lot, as they were often spinning at all kinds of game presentations.

The essence of the demo version is to get to visit an ominous neighbor and reveal his frightening secret, which is hidden in the basement, behind numerous castles.

I don’t know if some terrible secret is really hidden there. The ending of the demo does not give a definite answer to this question. Having entered the basement, we do not have time to see anything sinister there, and the demo ends on this. So, it can be assumed that the main character is a young moron (possibly great age), which simply does not allow neighbors to live calmly. Maybe not.

In general, the surroundings of the house “neighbor” are really sinister. Strange, given their whereabouts, children’s toys, in some places broken walls, for some reason turned upside down, the bathroom, from time to time bloody dreams on the walls and ceiling. All this unequivocally hints that the owner of the house is clearly engaged in something illegal.

But I would not be surprised if it turned out that, as they say, fear has great eyes.

In general, it resembles a concept from x/f “One at home”, Where the main character and the viewer is represented by one of the characters in the film as someone sinister, and then this character helps the baby and turns out to be a pretty person who simply found himself in a difficult life situation. As they say, appearance can be deceiving!

Description of the game in Steam, tells us that the artificial intelligence of our opponents is tied to the neural networks and adapts to our actions during the game, studying on the go. How much this corresponds to the truth, based on the passage of a demo version, for me it remains not clear. Judging by what I saw, the neighbor was deadly and not noticeable that he somehow adjusted to my actions. Moreover, he still did not react to the noise that our protagonist publishes, interacting with certain objects.

More specifically, at the very beginning we need to get out of the barn. In one place there is broken glass that cracks when you walk along it. Seeing this, I completely logically suggested that there should be a mechanic tied to the fact that the neighbor would respond to the noises I have made and immediately run in my direction. Moreover, in his house there is a room where it is extremely problematic not to be our way-a bathroom dotted with rubber toys-sprouts. But no matter how much I squeak these toys, a neighbor in the next room absolutely spit on it. He noticed me only if he himself decided to take a walk to the side for him for one reason where I was.

Sometimes he infuriates that he does not want to leave https://kingdomcasinouk.net/bonus/ the room in which he is located. Yes, it can be lured from there, forcing him to chase. But after he decides that you have fled and lag behind, it can easily return to the same room and dull there further.

A couple of moments confused me regarding the “complexity” of the gameplay. And the point is not that the demo version “Hello neighbor 2” Complex, by no means!

The first point is that if the neighbor noticed me and began to chase me, you can just run out of the house. After that, he stops the chase. On the one hand, this avoids long races around the house until it lags behind. But on the other, it turns out that in any incomprehensible situation you can just run to the nearest exit to feel safe. And this already reduces the intensity of what is happening. There is no particular need to act extremely carefully.

And the second-if you still failed to escape from a neighbor, then he just throws our protagonist to the street. And that’s it. All the progress of the game is preserved. The only thing that may not be preserved is objects that are in your hands that just return to the places where you previously selected them. That is, thus, the danger from the risk of being caught is completely zeroing.

Perhaps a demo version Hello Neighbor 2 specially made in this way, in order not to be difficult and just make it clear to the player what the game is. But thereby, the creators are misleading me and do not give me this very performance.

It turns out that if I am looking for something casual, which game looks in the demo, then in the full version I will face difficulties that I did not wait and, perhaps, did not want. And if I wait for the game to challenge me, then the passage of the demo will simply not put me to buy a full version.

In general, all this seems to me rather strange. But maybe the difficulty in the full version of the game will simply be configured by various modifiers. And the game, depending on the player’s desire, will be either casual as in the demo or the hardcore that challenges the player.

As for the puzzles themselves, around which the game is built, then in demo versions they are quite curious, not very complex and quite logical.

Except one – where you need to turn five paintings. I did not find a single clue (except for the location of these paintings themselves), which would have a thought that there should be five of them and that I do not need to make some additional action, except to expand them in the correct position. In fairness, this task is still simple and rests only on finding all the paintings, and then turn them in the allotted time, which a neighbor who will not want to get out of some room where one of the paintings is placed. Actually, the problem here was caused by only the moment that I could not find one of the paintings that ended up in the bathroom on … ceiling for a long time. I already mentioned that this room was slightly turned upside down and it is not clear where the floor is, where is the ceiling and where the walls ..

Otherwise, all tasks are logical and quite interesting. There are a sufficient number of tips around, thanks to which you can guess what needs to be done.

It slightly resembles puzzles Resident Evil, But here they are more intricate. However, this is natural, since Hello Neighbor 2 completely built around them.

As an example, I will give one of the tasks (except for the aforementioned paintings), which seemed to me the most complex and multilayer.

There is a toy house in the room where the side entrance enters the house. By pointing a mouse on him, it is clear that you can interact with him, which means that something needs to be done here. Near the door is a refrigerator on which the image hangs with this very house. The image shows that there are three figures on the roof of the house: the owner of the house and a boy with a girl. It is logical to assume that the figures need to be built on the roof of the house, in accordance with the pattern. We see one of these figures (the owner of the house) in the same room and can immediately put it in a designated place. This proves that our assumption is true and we need to find the two remaining figures. One of them can be found, by exploring a neighbor’s house. But she is behind bars, which can be unscrewed using the wrench. Where do we get it? And at the very neighbor! After all, it can be seen that he dangles at the belt. You just need to approach him from behind and grab the key so that he does not notice us, and then the work of the technique. Total, two figures are already on the roof of the house.

To obtain the third figure, you need to perform more actions. Exploring the house, on one of the walls in the corridor, you can notice a piece of image, in which a map and two pins are guessed, which indicate that you need to find two more scraps. We could already notice one of them earlier, the cat played with him next to the side entrance to the house. But just to pick up a piece of paper from the cat will not work, since he will not give his toy so simply. An empty bowl is next to the cat. This encourages the idea that a cat can give something to eat and indeed, here you can find fish in the refrigerator. Give her a cat and he forgets about a piece of paper. Another piece of card remains. But everything is more complicated with him.

Scissors are needed to get the third scrap. Here I can make a mistake, but as far as I remember, they are in the safe, next to the bedroom bedroom. If anything, you can watch all this on the video above. Safe, naturally you need to open, but for this you need a code. In the same room, classics are drawn on the ceiling (the game is like that, street). Four cells with numbers stand out with their colors. We guess that these are the same, the desired code numbers from the safe. But we need the right order. You can certainly choose the code with a breakdown, but this is tiring. In addition, to clarify the order of numbers, there is also a hint – multi -colored flags above the safe. The colors of the flags correspond to the marked numbers, and their order indicates the order in which you need to dial the safe code. We open and get scissors (I repeat, here the memory of me may fail and are scissors in another place …). The neighbor’s bedroom has a bunch of pillows that can be opened with scissors. There, on the floor, there is an image of a figure of a walking girl, seeing which, you can understand that we are on the right track. In one of the pillows we find a sought -out piece of card and collect it completely.

The map depicts the house of a neighbor and a barn in which we started. And behind the barn – a classic cross. We run there and see a freshly drunk pile of earth. Naturally, in order to break it, you need a shovel! Seriously, you did not think that it would be possible to do without it? Most likely, while you ran, solving the mysteries of the neighbor’s house, you have repeatedly ran away from all sides and saw that there was an entrance to the basement from behind, which was closed, including the shoulder blade we needed. What is it still closed there to me incomprehensible, but it will not work to go to the basement with this way. In general, grab a shovel, run to the barn and dig a girl’s figure there. Put it on the roof of a toy house, in accordance with the image. The house opens and ..! We can finally get one of the four keys from the ominous basement!

F-fuh, I did not even expect that the description of the task would take so much time and place in the text! Perhaps it was worth choosing something simpler as an example. But, as you can see, the task is quite interesting, complex and rather logical. Although it still requires a careful study of the environment. But this is normal and right. And yes, if you know in advance where to look for a girl’s figure, then you can not collect the card, but immediately grab a shovel and run to the barn.

From bugs, I can note that at some point (not on the video), my neighbor stuck stupidly in one of the doorways and just stopped doing anything and somehow react to me. But it happened only once. There was something similar in the video, but it is not clear there, perhaps he just stopped in the opening to think, because, seeing me, he immediately rushed in pursuit!

Generally, Hello Neighbor 2 It seemed quite interesting to me, but for the most part I was confused by the above simplifications that relate to the lack of actual punishment for failures.

But still, the game was not to my taste, so I do not plan to play in the full version. I somehow don’t really like cut circles around the house, running from a neighbor who does not allow me to calmly solve problems. In my opinion, it just delays the gameplay.

But I hope that my note or watching a video of the demo will help you decide if you want to play it. If you played in the first part, then most likely my note is not needed in you. Moreover, in this case, you see inaccuracies that I could allow by incorrectly interpreting certain game moments of demo versions.
